Florence takes advantage of the colder winter weather. The Florence Winter Park opened back in October and will continue to stay open until 26th February, with a selection of winter sports to get involved in.
There are two ice rinks at this year’s park to accommodate the huge volume of attendees over the next few months. With popularity increasing and as the most anticipated activity of the park, a skating school named Giglio Bianco Florence offers its services to train beginner skaters. The park has opened its own restaurant named Shelter of Ghiottone open to birthday parties, graduation parties and even weddings.
You can even become a member of the Florence Winter Park Club for many perks of the event such as price reductions for activities and fast track queuing.
If you love winter sports then this is the place for you. From ice skating to the relatively unknown outside of Italy game of ‘broomball’, tickets are only 6 euros and the park is the perfect winter escape for all the family.
